Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai fame Deepesh Bhan, in a rather unfortunate event, breathed his last this morning. The news of his sad demise sent tremors across the entire TV industry and many are dismayed by the same. 


Bhan became a household name with his role of Malkhan on the popular TV show and was known for his comedy. While the exact news of his demise still remains a mystery, several reports suggest that he suddenly collapsed while playing cricket in the morning and was rushed to a hospital where he was announced dead.

Meanwhile, his friends, family, co-stars and fans who are shocked and saddened by his demise have expressed their condolences.  



Following the sad news, Bhan’s co-star Charrul Malik, who extremely saddened by the news. In a recent chat, she shared the bond that they held and said, "I can't believe it still. I got to know about it in the morning. I just met him yesterday and he was all fine. We made a few reel videos together. I know him since eight years and he was closest to me on the sets. We used to eat our food together." 

The ETimes report quoted her adding, "Apart from being a talented actor, he was an amazing human being too. He used to guide me through my scenes. We have lost an amazing human and an actor."

Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai actor Vaibhav Mathur, who played the role of Teeka, shared an impeccable bond with Deepesh. He confirmed this news and said, "Yes, he is no more. I do not want to say anything on this, because there is nothing left to say," as reported by Dainik Bhasker. 


Furthermore, actor Rohitashiv Gour, who was also close to Deepesh, is shocked by the news. He said, "Our call time for the show was little late today. So I think after his gym, he went to a cricket ground to play cricket. It is part of his fitness routine. But while playing the sport, he suddenly collapsed and fell. It has come as a big shock to all of us. He was someone who was led a healthy lifestyle, he was a fitness enthusiast. I don't know how to express what I am feeling. We all are at his home currently, the entire team of the show."

The producers of the show, Sanjay & Binaiferr Kohli shared, "We are deeply saddened & shocked by the sudden demise of our beloved Deepesh Bhan. One of the most dedicated actors in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai and like our family. He will be deeply missed by all. Our heartfelt condolences to his family, May his soul Rest In Eternal Peace."


Meanwhile, actress Kavita Kaushik, who worked with Bhan in FIR, also offered her condolences to the late actor’s family and expressed her sorrow in a tweet as she wrote: “In shock, gutted ,pained with the news of Deepesh Bhan passing away at the age of 41 yesterday, a very important cast member in f.i.r , Was a fit guy who never drank/smoked or did anything to harm his health, left behind a wife n one year old child and parents and us all 💔💔”

Deepesh Bhan has been a part of several iconic TV shows including, 'Comedy Ka King Kaun', 'Comedy Club', 'Bhootwala', 'FIR', 'Champ' and 'Sun Yaar Chill Maar' of Bindass TV. In the year 2007, Dipesh also worked in the film 'Faltu Utpatang Chatpatti Kahani'. Along with this, he was also seen in the ad for T20 World Cup with Aamir Khan.
